A resident elk herd roams the property year-round. They even come to lay their young in the aptly named Elk Meadow.

Mallards, wood ducks, merganser ducks, and geese can be found bathing in ponds that are scattered naturally throughout the ranch. Bears, cougars, and deer enjoy their natural habitat on Winter Springs Ranch.
